New website for TA Web DesignJune 18, 2012
As I am typing this, there are 25 people viewing my website right now, as I have just announced that the website you are looking at has just launched. Can you smell the wet paint?
I took a step back from the previous design, and started afresh. With a different logo, layout, content and completely new look and feel. The focus was purely on simplicity.
I was aware that the old website was not my best work, and with a small break in between projects and an exhibition looming I took the plunge and started looking around for ideas, with typography and minimalism being major sources of inspiration.
I’m really pleased with the outcome, both from a technical and visual perspective. Try viewing this website on a tablet PC, mobile phone and also your desktop or laptop – see how it changes depending on the device you’re using to view the website? This is called “responsive web design”, and means you do not have to have a completely new website for mobile users. Much more efficient and better from the user’s and website owner’s point of view.
So, what do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts. Tweet to @TAWebDesign, or drop me a line via the contact page.
